Coco chips

Hi I’ve just purchased niteangel coco chips for Mindys enclosure. Should I freeze or bake to ensure no pests.

Yes, I think the chips could be baked to avoid hitchhikers

I think I baked mine last time. Just spread them out on a baking tray 100 degrees c fan for 30 mins

I didn’t bake my beech chips but feel like this is more natural substance.

Actually that was cork granules I baked. I expect coco chips are a similar thing though.
