When I just had the one hamster (Pip) and we had a bigger Christmas tree - it partly obscured his cage - about 2 feet away - and he seemed to really love it and kept coming out and looking at it and looking happy

Disappointingly, Dunelm have cancelled my order for my Christmas tree 
I’ll have to search for another. I might pop to one of our local garden centres and have a look

Oh no! Maybe they've run out.
Habitat have this nice 3 foot one and there is 20% off at the moment - it's £30 before the 20% discount The wicker basket is part of it. No assembly needed.
They also have this tiny little 1.5 foot one for £5! (It's very similar to our mini tree we've had for years) - but maybe that's a bit small? I loved our mini tree when we lived in a small 3 room place and it never looked that small once decorated with lights, tinsel and baubles. I'm just not ready to go back to it yet ............

Yes, they said the supplier had run out of stock and they didn’t know when they would get more The habitat one is really nice. I did have a look at it. Unfortunately, it’s too wide to sit on my sideboard. I’m not quite ready to go quite as small as the tiny one lol 
There are some good garden centres nearby with big Christmas shops, so I’m going to have a look later this week and see what I can find. If I don’t find anything I like, I do still have my 5 ft tree, although I’d become more enthused by the idea of a new, smaller tree. Hopefully I’ll find something nice which fits the space

Yay! I have a tree! Last week, I went to a couple of garden centres to see what they had, but I didn't like them much and they were pretty expensive. So, I went back to the internet and found this tree which was delivered today (to the wrong house, so I had to go round and collect it!). Having floofed it to see what it looked like, and to check it fits the space, I'm going to leave it where it is until I decorate it at the weekend...or before as the mood takes me It’s the nicest of the small ones I've seen and I'm pretty happy with it

I decided to decorate the tree this morning so it looks nice for my birthday tomorrow 
I had a cheeky glass of fizz while decorating (non alcoholic at 10.30 am!) and listened to Christmas music on Classic fm on the radio

when is Thansgiving? We don't have that in the Uk
Some European countries celebrate 6th December I think - which is St Nicholas day.Our tree won't arrive until the second week in December. Although it's potted so lasts indefinitely, we still don't like having it indoors too long in dry heat so will probably have it in and decorated by the end of the second week in December. But I do put our candle bridge in the window 1st December. When advent calendars start ..............
