Or just Wimbledon! Looking forward to the mens final tomorrow. I've watched some this year as it's been too hot to go outside! Usually just the highlights in the evening though.
 
🍓🍓🍦yes, a good distraction. I haven't watched it, although it's just up the road from me. I could walk there 😄 but would rather watch on TV 🎾
 
Have you ever been? It is something I have never done. OH did it a few times in his youth - train down there and queue. I didn't watch much for a few years as it got boring when Sampras kept winning every year and it was all about big serves. Prior to that I used to love Andre Agassi and was so happy when he won it. I was also happy (silly I know) to find that my two favourite tennis players had got married (Agassi and Stefi Graaf).
 
I haven't been, but enjoy watching it now and then. It is fascinating watching top notch sport. I spent time kayaking, that's about the only sport I know, and I did a bit of horse riding in my far flung youth. They put up big screens in town centres with deck chairs and it's really nice to buy an ice cream or some coffee or lunch and watch Wimbledon. Watching it with other enthusiastic people is very nice 🍓🍦

I queued once, years ago when I was a student. I was an avid fan particularly in my teens. It was great to go and experience it in person. Ive been watching as much as I can. My dad used to be a bank manager, and Stefan Edberg used to bank at his bank, so he met him several times, when he went in to bank his winnings!
 
That sounds good - how did you manage that? I remember one year I moved the tv over to the open window and sat in the garden watching it that way, but there was still glare on the tv!
 
So instead of salady summery food we're having hot chilli con carne for tea :ROFLMAO: And no strawberries and cream until Monday (when Wimbledon is over). Have some strawberries, but not cream and ice cream seems to be sold out .........

My stomach has given up in the heat, so I’m mainly eating cheese oatcakes at the moment!
