Very sad to tell you biscuit passed away on Saturday morning just after 4am . We are heartbroken she was our first family hamster , so feisty when she came to us but turned into the sweetest little thing . The vet even commented on how lovely and sweet she was , even when seriously unwell . I am so sad she only had 18 months with us .

Sorry for the loss of your sweet girl. How beautiful that you were able to form such a lovely relationship with her and that even the vet commented how sweet she was. It is so hard that they have such short lives and that you only had 18 months with her.

I got this to put on her memorial where she is buried. Very good quality . I hope she is burrowing and organising her treats in her mushroom up there ! We miss her so much

We are picking up an 8-9 week old baby Syrian male later .. the children are not very excited yet as they still miss biscuit but they are looking forward to seeing him ! I have had to completely change the lay out in the enclosure so it’s not the same as biscuit .. I am hoping biscuit is looking over telling him we are not scary humans !! She finally has a son
