The little dish she is sitting in, in the first photo looks good. Can I ask where is can't from please?
 
They are really useful, little teracotta saucers. I had some came with a rodipet house and often use them :-)
 
I've always had an aversion to that book cos my first year teacher in junior school made me sit down at my desk with it in reading time and I didn't want to read it lol 🤣 I remember just flicking through the pages cos I was bored ha ha. I'd have been about 7!
 
Haha re the borrowers. Being forced to do things is not a good learning method!

Blossom looks very focused in her foraging pictures. Lovely girl. Kulfi stays hidden until well after the lights go out these days.
 
I adored those books - but I read them on my own - I was a bookworm! But anything forced at school can spoil things. Another favourite, I think around that age, which was also full of imagination, was The Children of Green Knowe. Does anyone else know that one? It was spooky as well.

There were lots of books about magic popular in those days (long before Harry Potter!)
 
I was going to leave the excess bedding in Blossom’s cage to keep her warm and cosy…but then this happened lol (spot the toilet roll treat holder 🙄😝)
