Blossom was squeaking at me for her tea at 3.15 pm! I told her she was too early! I did also say that I would get her tea if she really wanted it, but she stopped squeaking and went back to sleep 😴 Anyone else's ham showing signs of being affected by the clocks changing?

Don't know about the hamsters yet but it always throws me! I can also never work out if the central heating clock needs changing or if it does it itself! I'm sure we'll find out.

Car clock often gets forgotten - or left for a long time because no one can work out how to do it (it's all menus and digital now).

We had lunch very late today - still not sure if it was just normal late, normal time, or late late ha ha.

Looks like Blossom's tea time has changed to 3.30pm then!

I'm sure we had this conversation about your central heating clock in the Spring when the clocks went forward 🤔😆

I noticed that Jas' morning drink was very early, not sure if she will get up earlier tonight though. I'll let you know

The piggy clock went off at the usual time, but also at 3am cos I had a snack at that time the night before, when the sound of plastic crinkling and the fridge door opening meant I had to hand round the lettuce 🥬 😄 Truffle thought that 3am was the perfect time for a little picnic last night too, but no lettuces materialised, so the piggies were extra keen this morning, but then very sportingly went back to sleep when Mom snoozed on 😴

It was so dark at 5pm! Don't like it. Sigh.

It just felt like a short day and a very long evening! Which, of course, it was!

As for the central heating clock - I was surprised to see it had changed over automatically - then I remembered we had a new one fitted last winter ha ha. So it's not the same one.

I have a feeling that’s what you discovered in the Spring lol 😏😂

It's 3.41 pm and Blossom is stirring in anticipation of teatime....she is most put out that her tea time has been altered. I believe she is composing a letter to Keir Starmer to complain about the negative effects of changing the clocks on hamsters and other pets!

It just feels a very short day again here :-) Looking dusky at nearly 4pm. No sign of either hamster last night! But they tend to come out after lights out, rather than after dark as such. I've just realised my oil-filled radiator timer is wrong now. So the one hour at night it comes on is coming on too early - although actually it's coming on at the same time of night as before! Always muddles me ha ha. It's a total pain resetting the clock on that. I'd have to cancel all the timers to re-set the clock then re-set all the timers.

Just wondering if I can ask Alexa to make the country change the clocks back again :ROFLMAO:

There are calls every year to scrap daylight saving but government just ignores it...I'd personally be up for not changing the clocks. Actually, I read an article in the simple things magazine where the woman in the article doesn't change her clocks...just runs on her own time. If I weren't working I'd be tempted!

I can't see how that would work when you have a Doctor's appointment or other appointment though. You'd have to keep working out the correct time every time. Quite a rebellious thing to do! When it's official.

I think she had a clock that was also set to the ‘correct’ time, so that if she had an appointment, she knew what time it was…kind of like living in a different time zone.

I think the clocks might have confused Jas a bit, she came out at lunchtime, she doesn't really do that. She even had a bit of a wander, not just a sleepy drink. I gave her a treat and she looked at me as if to say, what are you doing up in the middle of the night (obviously day for me🙂). I think she would be happy to support Blossom's letter

It's only me who seems confused here ha ha. Hamsters are just acting the same. Maybe that will change when I sort out the heater to come on an hour later as well.

The only good thing about the clocks going back was that Kulfi came out of his nest whilst my bedroom light was still on so I saw him properly for the first time in ages. He is still as gorgeous and fluffy as ever (which I told him).

I wish they would leave the clocks alone from now on.

Me too Tulsi. I was definitely a bit discombobulated yesterday! Adjusting a bit today but get tired mid evening as it feels so late!

Lovely you saw Kulfi though :-)
