Since the weather has been getting warmer I went online to buy ceramic hides for Topaç. I couldn't find any but I found this:

The product listing says "EuroGold Carno Cooling Hamster Bed with Ice Pack". My understanding is that you put ice in it, put it on a platform and put a hide over it. Is this product safe for hamsters? Would a hamster even want to use it? I imagine it could be pretty moist since there is supposed to be ice in it.

I don't have experience with that kind of pack, but it seems a bit sketchy as hamsters are sensitive to rapid temperature changes. I absolutely recommend a cooling tile instead, my old man loved his. He had this one and it ended up being great: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BY4Q52YB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Took to it immediately and didn't have to worry about any ill affects from him sleeping on it. Also became his favorite snack spot

It looks like a useful product, but the listing says that it cannot be shipped to my delivery location. Do you know some alternatives to a cooling pad?

A good option is a terracotta plant pot base :-) They are naturally cool in hot weather :-) Or any kind of ceramic hide or granite, slate or marble tile. Some people just use a ceramic drinking mug on its side - although that's maybe not quite big enough for a syrian. In very hot weather you can put a ceramic hide or mug in the fridge for a while, when the hamster is asleep and pop it back in the cage before they wake up.

Would a plant pot tipped on its side work as well? Or would it roll out of the platform?

Yes it would but yes it might roll off a platform! Unless you can wedge it in somehow. They are quite heavy - it could be at substrate level if you could find something to support it underneath.

I have bought a granite tile, it’s brilliant, cool without even put in the fridge. It’s 30 x 30 cm so rather large, I am having it cut in half so I can put one in the house and one in the playpen.
