Has anybody ever replaced their cork wheel track by cutting cork and gluing it to the wheel? I ask this because the wheels I use have been discontinued and once the cork strips run out it would be a shame to never be able to use the wheels again. I was wondering if it would be possible to glue cork to them myself or if you always need to buy the cork track from the company that makes the wheel. I understand it would need to be very flat cork so as to not make the wheel smaller for running.

I haven’t tried it - I believe some people have done though. If it’s not damaged it can just be washed with soap and water though.

Thank you. Sometimes they lift off and seeds get stuck underneath which spoils the cork track. I have been unable to save some due to this.
