Dwarf hamster paradise

Upgrading the girls enclosure to a 75 gallon tank which i found on facebook marketplace for 90$ bucks which ain't too bad .Has to be resealed though .
 
What are the dimensions of the 75 gallon? I think it has more depth than the 55 gallon doesn't it? Same length but more depth?
 
I'm going off of the dimensions from petco's website to get a general idea , this is what i found .
75 gallon tank dimensions are this : 49 in L x 21.25 in H x 19.5 in W
while
55 gallon tank dimensions are this : 48.75 in L x 21.25 in H x 14 in W

tiny bit longer & 5.5 in difference in width which is nice .
also the tank has to be resealed in a area should I use the GE 100% all purpose silicon stuff like iv'e seen online ? just making sure .
 
I'm not particularly up on sealants but most people recommend non toxic aquatic sealant - I'll see if I can find the particular one. This is so it's non toxic if chewed, but all of them will give off fumes when being used so using it needs to be done well away from hamsters until it is fully dry/cured - which can take a few days I believe.

Something like this one. Why do you need sealant if you're buying the tank?

 
the 75 gallon tank i was going to get had a leak but the buying of it fell threw because someone already went and got it before i was able to.
