His set up has to work for him & be easy for you to keep clean & healthy for him & you’re doing your best for him there, it doesn’t look boring it’s just different.
I couldn’t say for sure but I think hemp would be good with diabetic pee, it doesn’t rot or go mouldy easily normally so hopefully it will work well.
