Funny things about humans-A thread for hamsters

Albert: you think that's bad... The hubby human here eats nuts and seeds from a bag. He's a messy eater and sometimes drops a few on the floor. Guess what? He picks them up and puts them in the bin. It's shocking 🐹
 
I made up a really fun game. When one of the humans goes out the room, I come out and have fun. I have a wash and look for seeds. Then when I hear they are coming back, I rush into my burrow and they have no idea I have been out. 😂
 
Raffy - My human squeaked when she saw me eating a slimey treat. She was very odd. First she squeaked and stopped me eating it - then she turned her back for a moment so I started eating it again and pouched it before she could stop me again. Then she sat staring at me for ages. I think she was jealous and wanted her own slimy treat.
 
I have come up with a great way to get my morning treat faster. Now when I hear the humans talking or a click noise I come out and sit looking cute to prompt the human into feeling guilty and making her rush to get my treat. It is pretty funny to watch her rushing about while being half asleep. 😂
 
I have come up with a great way to get extra mealworms. When I have had enough of my playpen, the human put me back in my cage. As she walks away, I start frantically scratching at the glass and begging. She will pick me up and try all sorts of things such as put me back in my playpen, put me on her lap and sit me on their bed. I ignore all this until I get a mealworm. 😂 It is a great game and I am starting to do this more and more. Serves her right for calling me 'cute bum bum Sprite'!
 
Raffy: I have thought of a great way to make the human get up and start walking around when it's not necessary. I pretend I can't jump out of the toy box. I make scrabbling noises until she comes over and says - oh dear do you need a step to get down. She goes off to get a step and then I jump out ha ha!
 
I have noticed that their hands always smell like a mix of flowers and chemicals when they come to hold us. I really don't like it. Again, just use SAND!!!
 
I am so angry! The human was very mean to me today and would not give me a mealworm no matter what I did. I kept wanting to go in and out the playpen and my cage, I tried chewing her blanket and I even refused to eat my ground flaxseed. She just said I had walnut and that is enough. Why cant I have a mealworm every day? I will carry on doing this until I get one. Hehe.
