Leo didn't come out for his food Friday evening and something didn't feel right.
I went looking for him, and found him curled up in his nest. He had passed away probably a few hours prior on Friday.
He would have been exactly 3.5 next Tuesday, 14th July. I got him as a baby in March 2023.
He waa a healthy hamster until close to the end, when he had some tooth issues requiring regular trims.
He was shy but feisty and loved his food.
I hope he just fell asleep peacefully.

. He had such excellent care from you over his three and a half years. I am sure he is playing well over the Rainbow Bridge with all our other departed and loved hamsters. Leo was well known and loved on here and it was always lovely to see his little face and see him. Huge belated hugs
