Goodnight Pixie🧚‍♂️ and Crybaby🍼

Sadly Pixie and her pup, Crybaby have passed away between last night and this afternoon. I am saddened by this, but I checked up on my others and they are all ok. I found them both asleep(no they weren’t together in the same tank!) passed away. I believe pixie passed off a tumor because a few days ago I noticed a lump near her side/back which is still there when I saw her curled up asleep. I was supposed to be getting a dwarf hamster from a friend who no longer could keep her, so there is some brightness to this. And as the liter was accidental liter I think crybaby passed due to bad genetics.

I just wanted a dedicated post so that they are remembered in some way

Goodnight Crybaby, and goodnight Pixie. You were very loved and I hope you guys can be free with room to roam everywhere you want, especially you pixie(she had a neurological issue and was bored in everything we gave her, even 2000+ square inches immediately trying to escape when we put her in it) thank you for bringing light to my life when things were tough, you were loved dearly by everyone.

I am so sorry to hear this. There is a Rainbow Bridge Section on here if you want to do a little memorial post as well. That must have been hearbreaking to find they both passed and it does sound like a genetic link somehow. Although the others seem ok, I'd still be careful in case it was something infectious.

They were in completely different rooms, so no idea what could’ve happened:/ I was guessing genetics since they came from the same line of em
