Hamster eating. strings from chew toy

I have seen my hamster chewing off the strings from a carrot chew toy and i don’t know if this i safe?

As far as i know they are ok but if you're worried, i'd remove it and give your hamster a whimzee instead. They are definitely safe and meant to be chewed.

Those are fine, they are made of sisal string. Or supposed to be. They are meant to be chew toys. It looks like sisal string as it's hairy If you think she's chewing it too much or swallowing some then swap it out. As Beryl said, whimzees are edible chews.
