Brilliant, it's such a nice colour I hope he hops on and off lots and wears away some of those naughty nails

Its all actually worked well, with his new dig corner too and a new stone in his sand bath (to also help him get in and out)

Only issue is new stone has meant he seems to not be weeing as much in his sand bath now and more in nest!

Glad that's helping! I wonder why he's not peeing in his sand bath at the moment!

I think its since 'the stone' was added. he was miffed about it for a while but it has made getting out of his sandbath easier for him... but its since then I think

I did try scatter feeding him again out of interest and he was HORRIFIED haha. Spent a good 5 mins picking everything up and putting it in his food bowl Where All Food Should Go. And god forbid i put a spray in (he HATES them). Such a strange little hamster boy!

I do love all the different personalities I had one like this. None of my Syrians has been interested in sprays! First time I added them I got "horrified" - what's this in the way? And it got trampled on.

Actually Higgins did strip his sunflower petals - not for the first few weeks but after his first cleanout and he had a panic and pouched everything in sight.

His tidying does make us laugh. Chumley likes a neat and organised cage!

Also when he's peeved he will literally turn his back on us haha

Our first hamster Charlie was like that. Turning his back. He was also the master of "how could you" guilt tripping looks, and black looks.

Ohhh the 'glare' as well. Usully if hes emerged early and no treat is immediately incoming. He just sits and literally stares hahaha
