I have just bought tickets for this hamster fair in Birmingham.

I hadn’t heard of that, looks like it will be well worth a visit, look forward to hearing about it.

The first fair was in York last year so you may still be able to read up about it.

I watched clips of last years hamster fair on youtube. I look forward to hearing how you find it.

It was a new thing last year. Happy Hamsters are big on welfare - they will only rehome Syrians to a 100cm cage or bigger and persuaded me to put Pip in the 100cm too. I’m glad I did! I would have used the Mickey 2XL otherwise as I was concerned about bar spacing- and Pip was teeny tiny! They still persuaded me saying he had never shown any inclination to bar climb etc and has been in a cage with 1cm bar spacing. The plaza bar spacing is actually 9.5mm which is more reassuring! And it’s never been an issue. He’s slightly bigger now too.

They have lots of stalls and speakers. And I had never heard of half the suppliers until then. Happy Henry’s homes and Hopes treats are part of it I think and they sell really good safe stuff.

I’ve seen Hopes treats & Happy Henry’s homes on instagram but don’t follow them, just have a look from time to time so I missed out on hearing about the fair, I’ve heard about Happy Hamsters too.

If you go on their website, you'll see a list of this year's vendors.

I didn't go last year because Yorkshire is a long way from Wiltshire but still bought tickets.
Done the same for this year and bought tickets but don't know yet if i'll be able to go or not.
Either way, i wanted to support this event .

Assume Birmingham will be a lot easier for you though. I’m impressed as it must be a mammoth event to organise and get everyone turning up and stalls etc.
