Hi!

My name is Robin, and I am the owner/founder of RobinsGourmetFood, a US-based shop specializing in species-specific hamster and gerbil food founded back in 2020. Since Hamster Hideout closed (I was known as Robin~ on there), I've taken a bit of a hiatus from online education, but I think I'm ready to get back into the swing of things!

I don't have any hamsters currently since I'm in college, but I've had 6 over the years. My specialty has pretty much always been in hamster food/nutrition education, but I also dabble with enrichment and species-specific care. My main interest outside of hamsters is birding.

I had a quick look at the Syrian mix and the ingredients look very nice I'm always a bit worried when some mixes rely too much on lentils for protein - but I guess people can always add their own fresh extras for protein if needed.

I have a question also Could people opt to have one ingredient changed for another ingredient as regards protein? eg if someone wanted dried shrimps or chicken or insects instead of lentils?

Also, it's great that things have come such a long way from lab blocks. Is the food available in the Uk and the US?
