Crybaby
Hihi! Im Bella, and I currently own 4 hamsters!
2 of them are named after things relating to Melanie Martinez, as she’s been a huge part of my life and who I am today. I started listening to her when I was 6, and I’ve been listening to her for 8 years. So yea haha. If you know who she is definitely should’ve have found that at age 6 haha. Anyways…the 2 named after her are Pixie, my 10 month old Syrian, and Crybaby, my almost 4 month old hamster who was part of a liter of hamsters that Pixie had accidentally
however she was the only survivor of the 7 as one of the 2 females must’ve passed due to bad genetics(both were pet store hams
) and the males we didnt separate in time(yk what that means
) and I feel so so terrible but we had thought it was 8 weeks we separate the males into individual cages, but it turned out to be 6 weeks. We just didn’t know how to handle it since we aren’t breeders or professionals or anything like that

Here’s Crybaby:

And Pixie!

Pixie is in a 40 gallon right now but is soon being upgraded since she has a bit of a neurological issue and chews out of anything that isn’t glass. Even if she’s bored in it, it’s whatever is safest for her right now I believe is the best way to go. We have a dog, so that’s the last thing we want to happen. Yes, she has chewed out of 3 bin cages. We can’t even try those with her
We got her in PA on the way home to see family^^(she was so chill but we were so wrong lol)
Crybaby is in a 50 gallon bin. She is enjoying it a ton! Her favorite things are her 10 inch wheel, sand bath and coco soil half of the cage! (Hence why she’s a bit “dirty” looking in the pic haha)
The other 2 are named Benny and Moo Moo!
Benny is around 7 months old, and Moo Moo is about 6.5 months(I say about and around as we don’t have many rescues around here so sadly we have to get them from pet stores//which they are around 6 months when we get them where we are) the nearest rescue or breeder is over 2 hours away, and we don’t want to make a hamster take a 2+ hour trip home and get all stressed out.
This is Benny! Benny is a long haired Syrian! He’s my mothers favorite out of them since she likes the long haired Syrians the most. We got him after the males passed away(we had an empty cage, and was feeling a bit empty in the house with the cage empty)
He’s in a 2000+ square inch rabbit cage(the bars are re- enforced so that he can’t go through the bars! Please don’t worry!)

And Moo Moo! She’s sweet but skittish. We got her while on a trip to the zoo, and we stopped for hamster food on the way home. Found her and immediately my mother said we had to get her(she falls in love with hamsters at the pet store a lot haha)
We got her right before another group of people were about to. They had to finish picking out their tiny critter trail cage but luckily we got her first, no living a nice life in a 60 gallon bin cage(almost 60, it’s like 68 but all the measurements are a little weird. It is at least 50 though!)

No, I don’t like supporting the pet store at all, but we kinda can’t adopt em since it’s too far/too much for the hamster to be taken 2+ hours to it’s new home. Please be understanding of this at the time we live in a really random tiny town
