Guys, I have a question.
I left Sweetie with my house mate that check on her for food and water while I’m on holiday, but Sweetie is very skittish with strangers and she stay in her nest almost of the time. Do you think she will recognise me when I’ll be back on Saturday? I left just for a week. I miss her so much

Have no fear, Sweetie will be sure to recognise you and she will be so happy to see you. Hamsters have good memories. I am sure she is missing you as much as you are missing her.

I've been away for more than a week before and my partner looked after the hamsters. They've always reckognized me when i came back.

I wouldn't worry about Sweetie. This time of the year they spend a lot of time in their nests anyway. Enjoy your time away. It will soon be Saturday.

I agree. My hamsters have always happily slotted back into the usual routine when I return after time away from them.

I agree too. When we went away for the week, you could see that Hams was excited when we returned. It’ll be lovely for both of you on Saturday

I finally come back in UK and when I have arrived Sweetie came out from her nest all curious and excited to see me again. It was a lovely surprise
