I ordered this grooming kit not realizing it's marketed for rabbits and guinea pigs

[Ware Pet Products kit, showing a smallish soft-bristled brush, a small slicker brush, nail trimmers, and an wooden chew toy]

Yeah there's a bunny and piggy on the packaging, but Chewy had it labeled broadly as for "Small Pets". Mostly I just wanted the regular brush bc Laundry gets bedding caught up in his long fur, and the clippers in case I need to trim his nails at some point (I also separately bought stypic powder just in case). But I thought the brush would be more like a barbie brush, is something larger and softer than that that "distributes natural oils" as per the back good for a hamster? And are the clippers the right size for his smaller nails? Also if the wood chew toy (tree species unnamed) is safe for guinea pigs and rabbits, does that make it hamster safe too? Or should I just return the kit?

I'd just return it :-) Everything looks too big. I think some people just use a toothbrush. Or a small comb for any snags.

Do you know of any hamster nail clippers? That's the biggest reason I wanted it, for if/when his nails get too long. Everything else I could find was for cats at its smallest.

You can just use a small pair of human nail scissors :-) I prefer the small nail scissors to clippers.

Good to know! You've been so helpful with all my newbie questions

Also, I contacted Chewy and since the mistake was theirs in the listing, they refunded me without my having to return the kit and advised me to donate it to a shelter, so I emailed the Humane Society I adopted Laundry from and asked if they want it for their piggies and bunnies. If not them, there is another shelter in my city that also has bunnies (including one named Hoptimus Prime!)
