I love the rummage box, what a great idea for a toy. She's such a character

Lilly discovered a new toy this morning.

I'm glad her left eye is ok again. She gets some kind of a flare up when she doesn't open her left eye properly but it's not a sticky or infected eye. Metacam for 3/4 days clears it up. She had that before her surgery and i put it down to pain. Maybe Lilly gets some pain or headaches from time to time. She goes a bit quiet during this time as well.

Glad to hear her eye problem has cleared up again & she’s ok.
She never seems to stop enjoying herself anyway!

That's a great toy and I'm glad Lilly is enjoying it. Glad to hear her eye is better too. 💕

Typically, where Eddie likes to sit, Lilly wants to as well. She's having a snooze there just now.

My goodness she is one industrious little madam

Super video of Lilly in the dig box, I love the little legs kicking out as she rummages about. She really is just so adorable and has recovered so well from her op, great her eye has been good as well 😊

Caught up on Lilly's adventures, glad she's doing well again. Think she's staking her claim on the best spots?

Oh yes, soon as i put her down she runs off to the prime spots.
She also lets me know when a top up is required by chasing after me.

I'm concerned about Lilly's health again. The mobility of her back legs is affected. She can run but she slightly drags her back legs which is more noticable in the left leg. When she came out of her taxi mug she rolled onto her back by mistake but Lilly is excitable and does fall over. There could be a medical reason of course.
I'm going to book her an appointment with her vet. Lilly needs a nail trim anyway and she's too wriggly for me to do it.
She's been a bit quiet the last couple of days and slept a lot but it has been hot.
The vet and i have already agreed on a treatment plan should Lilly take ill again which would be to keep her comfortable for as long as possible with metacam. I've given her some metacam this morning in case she has some discomfort. It usually works very well for her. I need to see the vet about that as well and ask her to put it on a repeat prescription.
I checked Lilly over and there's no tumor or injury visible. There are no fall risks or places to trap a foot in her cage.
She's 16 months which isn't old but she's a hybrid with health issues and i'm very aware of their poor life expectancy at the best of times. Considering that, Lilly is in fact doing quite well.

That is a worry, I hope it isn’t anything too serious or anything permanent & she’s going to be ok.
It can be almost impossible sometimes to know what’s going on with this kind of thing, hopefully the metacam will help her.

It's something I'd associate more with old age but she's not that old, and as Elusive says, it's difficult to know what can cause back leg weakness. Common things are a spinal injury after a fall but it sounds like you've ruled that out. The positive thing is they can go on happily for quite some time with weak back legs.
