I'm looking to add some extra clutter for my Ham's enclosure, and was wondering where you guys get yours from? Especially the wooden logs and branches, the pet stores in the States have nearly nothing.
I really like cork tunnels which you can get in many places, reptile shops are a good place to look.
There are some quite nice resin hides for reptiles too, larger ones are ok for hamsters although you do have to check them for sharp bits & sand them down if necessary.
Coconut hides are great too.
I’m not sure how much a Russian hamster would use branches tbh.
You can make lots of things out of cardboard too if you can’t find much.
Any kind of tunnel basically. Cork tunnels are good as they're a nice big tunnel to run through and also something interesting to climb over with an interesting texture. Because they're so light, they don't sink or need supporting. I sometimes use on partly under a shelf as a ramp up to the shelf as well.
