Luna says hi from her coconut - how are we all?

Hope you are all well?


Luna has put on weight since her last vet check when I told you I thought she wasn't drinking....

2 days later she was drinking from her bottle loads, she mocked me lol.

Love her to bits, she's not as friendly as my previous Syrian but she has her own beautiful personality which makes her special.

She's such a fluff ball now.

She's absolutely gorgeous :-) Ha ha that she mocked you. They do things like that - I swear they know what we're thinking :-) And they can be cheeky.

True, we called her Luna as she was grey and white when we got her, now she is brown and white lol, defeats the name Luna. Sparky our previous Syrian was more friendly and answered to her name, but Luna is different... Not in a bad way though. Luna is a, you can pet me, but DO NOT PICK ME UP Hammy. She will let us pick her up for free roam but other than that she kicks and scratches with her back legs. She has got more gentle when she takes food from our hand, she use to snatch - So question from me - when a Hamster use to snatch food but is now so gentle and slow, is she comfortable? I changed her sand box today and she peed in right away too! She's a devil but she's got all the love I have for her!
 
I think it sounds like she is more comfortable with you. I have a little hammy, that doesn't like to be picked up. She is the same, so gentle when taking a treat, to the point where she will run up to my hand and then obviously stop, so she can carefully take the treat
 
My last Syrian Raffy was a bit like that too - he was full of energy and not one to sit for a stroke. He accepted that a bit more once he got older. But they all have different personalities and endearing qualities.
 
It would :-) Although maybe not this month as this month is the Christmas photo competition :-)
