I am so very sorry Matt, that is so unfair. I've edited the post a bit to remove some of the details but it is very sad. Our thoughts are with you and Luna

Luna has passed away whilst we were stroking her. We sat with her until the end. I'm going to miss my baby

It was so sudden. Unfortunately the fast rodent metabolism of small pets like hamsters makes things that go wrong affect them so quickly. There often isn't any time to do anything to help them. This is very sad. Sleep softly at the bridge little Luna

I'm so sorry to her it, she was such a lovely ham. It's not your fault, hamsters can make it tough as they hide when they're ill or hurt as best they can. And like Socks Mum points out their health can spiral rapidly.
