Luna says this is too hot this Uk weather

I put Luna's thermal mug in fridge to cool her down, she liked it. She says hi to all!

Just got hot here today after two days of rain and grey. House full of flies! Our fly zapper appears not to be working any more unfortunately.

I’ve managed to keep the flies out just by pulling the curtain across the back door when the door is open. It’s been quite effective so far

I had always meant to get one of those coloured plastic strip door curtain things like my Grandma had! They were surprisingly effective. Although never liked the look of them.

Aiming a fan at the entrance can help, they don't like turbulence.
I've just put damp sheets in the windows and shut the curtains. I like Loveliness idea about windscreen reflectors. I'm hoping the weather will turn tonight I put some moist reptile sand into a ceramic bowl and it's nice and cool on hammy feet. Luna's thermal mug is a great idea, very clever. She looks so cute in it

I actually don't mind it, as long as it isn't humid I do remember tarmac melting on roads some years when I was a child Maybe they used improved tarmac now!
