These cool mats are good. You can give them a little boost in the fridge, but they are also naturally cool

I just heard how terribly hot it is in London, I hope you and the little piggies are okay
I bought miniature ice packs for the Bucatstate hideout. Of course Nibbles doesn’t go in there, so I put them under is cage just where he has his nest. He seemed a lot better last night when he woke up. He was out by nine in his beloved (in the meantime stinky) playpen. He has redecorated and made quite a mess of the place. Also splashed around in his drinking brown, chattering away and having fun like a child
So I will put the cool pads under his cage again today, this heat is awful.. I haven’t had a good sleep in days. Big hamster cuddle from Nibbles

My quilted mats have regained their coolness, so they are a good buy after all. They are nice used damp (for people) Nibbles must be terribly cute playing in his water bowl. He is a very confident hammy. What fun
The piggies are hot and are sleeping a lot It's 29C in my flat The kitchen floor is cool and I think I will give them some time in the kitchen. The sun will soon be off the windows. The double glazing gets too hot to leave your hand on it. I taped a piece of newspaper to one window and it is surprising what a difference even a single piece of newspaper makes. We have ice, cool pods, a cooling unit and have stocked up on mini cucumbers.

I have hung some thin mats outside covering two windows and that makes a big difference

I scared myself reading that sudden changes of temperature can crack even double glazing but done correctly it sounds like a great system

I think it would be best to put it on in the morning just in case
But people have said it’s really good…
I have transferred Nibbles to the floor on the cool tiles. He didn’t even wake up
I will put the wheel back later as not to disturb him

Nibbles is out he’s had a good stretch and yawning but he seems fine
He has put on weight and is now 163 grams
