New hamster cages at P@H

Exactly. You could buy a Savic plaza with full Perspex for less as well.

And the plaza 120 is only £114 (although currently you need to add £50 for pallet delivery from Wales).

I think the range is designed to appeal to people who want space saving cages and like tubes - kidding themselves they can add on later (but probably won’t)

And also people who want something modern and stylish looking.

I wonder why they made them so narrow. Nearly all cages of that size have been 50cm deep for many years.

Incidentally- Ferplast never did reply to me after an initial standard (will pass it on to the design team to reply).

I had asked them to make a taller maxi duna multy - perhaps with a barred section between the base and top. It’s possible as they already do that with the duna fun large.
A tall duna multy would be a great cage especially for a robo.
It is frustrating that the multipla are so narrow. I wonder if that’s about bringing costs down.
I think I just like the idea of expandable and configurable cages so you could have a really big cage when you can afford to. I’ll potentially be able to do that in the future with the niteangel stackable cage if I can find another cheap one, second hand.… At the moment I don’t have the money or the room but in a years time I might be able to🤔

These seem to be selling well on Amazon. They are not cheap. This one is £150. It would be hard to persuade someone who spent that much money on a cage, that it's too tall, doesn't have enough floor space and is too narrow. I think it's the look that appeals to people as it looks quite modern and less cage-like. And it's being marketed as a hamster cage. The only plus is it does have a fairly deep base.

This one is £130. Still too narrow - but people like them. The advertising of this one is deceptive. It shows it with an addon piece and says it's 107.5 cm long but it's actually only 72cm because it doesn't include the extension piece. So £130 for 72cm x 37.6cm cage.

I did not see many good reviews for these cages. It is very sneaky to only include the add on measurement of the second cage!

But they are being marketed and sold at PAH and on Amazon so people will buy them. It's frustrating the Plaza 120 isn't yet being marketed widely.

I agree. These companies need to update their cage sizes but sadly I dont think they will.
