Every post has a "Report" button on the bottom left of the post (see screenshot below). This is so anyone can report a problem post. If it looks like spam or some other problem with a post that you need to report.
This system is now improved, so that when you report a post, it actually removes the post and sends it to a manual moderation area, where it can be dealt with - but it means it is moved off the forum quicker than the previous system where it had to wait until admin or moderator had seen the report and checked the post. When the post is reported, as well as being moved off the forum, it sends an email to admin/moderator and is set up to make a phone ping
So if I'm not online I can go online to check what has been reported.
In this way, we are all "mini moderators"
And can all help keep the site free from unwanted posts.
It is quite rare that a post actually needs reporting and it is very rare any spam actually gets onto the forum, but if it does need doing, please report it. You don't need to wait to contact someone about the post. Just press the report button and it goes straight to the moderator approval/rejection area.
