Orko likes to pop in and out of his burrows all night long. Although he had been out many times, he decided to sniff everything when he came out.

It is lucky he did not get spooked. I love how he looks around like a meerkat.Something caught his interest. At least he didn't get spooked and carried on with his hamster business.
Aw thank you. I find him soooo cute. When I have actually seen him in person I am stunned by how cute he is. Hehe. He’s just so cute. Yes, shows how comfortable he feels to not get spooked. He’s clearly very happy in his home.
That is good to know.I think all hamsters love walnuts!
Really? I thought it was too difficult for him.I'm sure he could still eat the flaxseeds spread out but Orko doesn't want to, lol.
Noo, Robos are very agile and resourceful. There is no such thing as an obstacle for them. Orko is a Robo who doesn't compromise. It's Orko's way or it's not going to happen.Really? I thought it was too difficult for him.
Wow, I had no idea! This makes me wonder about a lot of things now.....Noo, Robos are very agile and resourceful. There is no such thing as an obstacle for them. Orko is a Robo who doesn't compromise. It's Orko's way or it's not going to happen.
That is so funny and clever. I feel with Orko it is more everything has to be done in the way he likes or he will not tolerate it. He has to have his bowl in a certain place and never put treats near the hole in the MCH.Oh yes. They are not as delicate as they look! Well physically they are but maybe Orko is twisting you round his little paw. Newt used to do tricks on me. I'd put his veg and extras out then go in the other room to change his water. When I came back he was sitting staring at the dish and staring at me and back at the dish as if to say "where's my veg woman?". I'd think - I must have not done the veg yet (I do it on autopilot sometimes). So I'd go and get veg and put it on the plate. I twigged when he did it again! I know I put the veg out the second time but he did the same thing again! Cheeky hamster trying to trick me into giving double or treble veg.
I remember reading all about Charlie. Some hamsters are like that anyway. They feel secure if everything stays the same. I think I mentioned before that Charlie, our first Syrian hated anything being moved even a few millimetres - the shock and horror on his face at finding something had moved slightly. Most hamsters like to know things are in the same place - because I guess they see their habitat as a permanent fixture. I wouldn't like to find my house had moved round the corner either!
