It has been 2 days since the last injection, but my hamster is still making strange noises, he seems weak, how many days will it take for him to recover from the disease? Is it normal that he is still having difficulty breathing, I would be very happy if you could help me, I am so sad about him.

Hello and welcome. So sorry to hear this. How old is your hammy and what species is he? It might be he needs a longer course of antitibiotics orally. When you say strange noises, do you mean his breathing? If he's an older hamster, it might not be just a respiratory infection but he'd still need to see a vet if he's suffering. Was the last vet an exotic vet? I would phone the vet you saw and tell them he hasn't improved and see what they suggest - they might issue the antibiotic prescription without you having to take him in again as they've already seen him.
