It's been a while since we posted, but Rusty has settled in so well. His young owner has come on leaps and bounds in confidence, still using gloves (especially after Rusty gave her little brother a curious nip on the finger and drew quite a bit of blood the other day 
), but is now confidently picking him up, carrying him to and from his cage to play pen, and letting him climb or sit on her hands to have treats. Rusty seems to trust her and sits on top of his carboard hide in front of his cage glancing to and from her and his cage when he wants 'home'. Here he is enjoying the spoils of autumn (he was only allowed a tiny piece to eat, but the pumpkins made a fun new place to explore!), after filling his pouches from his forage board!

Poor little brother - I hope he gets over it. But great he is bonding with his young owner
