So Tino came out last night. I haven't seen him for a while. One night he wanted to come out and I was too tired as it was late and I said sorry Tino it's late. He walked away looking sad and making me feel guilty. Haven't seen him since! Sulking or just given up! But last night we were both there at the same time. He came out and I was there, and of course he wanted out. And it was late, but I decided it was time he had some time out of the cage again. So he had lots of exploring in the playpen, running around, using his wheel, some time on the sofa (why do they always climb the sofa arms and think about jumping off?!) and a couple of cuddles in the crook of my arm. Not for long - he maybe sat for about 8 seconds for a stroke and a cuddle
Aww, that's sweet! Just long enough to share his love. As far as the jumping, I think they just love exploring that much but are still cursed with so little depth perception. I'm guessing it's really the change of smell that's telling them it's an empty space.
I think it's just looking for an escape ha ha! He contemplated jumping off the front of the sofa but that only goes into the playpen, so he tried the sofa arm which is outside the playpen
As posted on Higgins thread, Tino ONLY ever seems keen to come out when he sees me letting Higgins out! Jealousy and competitiveness! Otherwise he decides to come out intermittently. He does his own thing in between Last night it was very late and I was just taking Higgins out when Tino appeared at the door looking desperate to come out. But by the time I'd put Higgins back, he had disappeared again. It will be his turn first next time though! Usually I end up having to let them both out one after the other!
Tino was out again last night - he loves rollicking in his playpen. Sniffing, wheel and saucer running and so on. It was very late again but I couldn't say no! Didn't have my phone on me again.
