Hi all!
Just looking for any suggestions or advice regarding what would be best to do with Mr Maggie during some renovation/building work which will be taking place soon here.
The work is needing done in the Kitchen which is in the room next door to where his cage is, and will consist of knocking through a wall (not adjoining his room) and putting in 2 x steel beams/RSJ things (?!)
There will obviously be significant noise and dust created during this work.
I can seal up the adjoining door as best I can to try and keep the sitting room (where he lives) as dust free as possible but the noise will be considerable and from past experience... dust travels so I'm not sure if it may actually be better for him if we move his tank back up to our bedroom while the builders are here? I know moving rooms is stressful and would not do this if I could safely avoid it for him. I do wonder if moving his tank would be less stressful than the noise and be safer for him from a respiratory point of view?
(he would be moved back up to our bedroom which is upstairs and as far away from the work site as possible before then going back to the sitting room once all the messy/noisy renovation work is completed)
Thanks in advance for any ideas or thoughts!
