Waffles is a bundle of energy So glad she is doing fine - you've made amazing progress with her. And yes it's sad - little Bruce will indeed be missed and it's noticeable when you have less things to do and that's another reminder. I hope Waffles is being a comfort and behaving herself.

Well some days she's ok and some days she's a little bitey. Still doesn't like bare skin . I think she never will like bare skin. It's so funny putting on giant gloves for a tiny little hamster.

I have a dilemma. My sister gave me the full perspex screens for the plaza. (Her little robo sadly passed away.) I'm not sure if I should put them on waffles cage (she has cardboard round the sides at the moment and nothing at the front of the cage. ) I don't know if it will upset her as she chews the bars for attention when I'm in the room. I've watched her and as soon as I leave the room she stops and goes to do something else..

Yes. She just seems to chew for attention when she hears me in the room. She shares the room with the guinea pigs so hears me getting them organised before it's her time to come out. And she gets impatient waiting lol.

For everyone that was wanting to see more of Waffles. Here she is. (Her ear looks a bit red in one of the pics. But It doesn't seem to look like that in real life. Only in the picture. Weird. )

I'm so glad to see more of her, she's so cute!!! Sucks when it comes to the gloves, but at least she likes you. For the panels, if there's a chance she can get a paw stuck between the cardboard and bars I would switch it. Maybe make her a cardboard toy near where she likes to communicate

I treated Waffles to some goodies from hamster helper. Including a lotus head toy. She absolutely LOVES it. I tried to take it out to fill it up tonight and Waffles was grabbing into it with both paws and hissing at me. Little madam. Had to fill it in the cage. Went to get my camera to take a picture of her with it and she disappeared down a burrow. She's so funny

that's it. I got Waffles a small one. She loves it. She's chewed a bit of it already. I like how it's a natural product too. And the shop owner freezes everything for 48 hrs to help prevent bugs.

That's a small I got her. It's about the size of the top of a can of juice. They vary though because it's a natural product
