Hello,
I might be getting a new hamster, ( I am not sure since I already have 2. ) but I don't want to buy hamsters from the pet store anymore. I want to buy hamsters from breeders because I have heard of bad things in the pet mills. Can you guys give me some suggestions?

Which country are you in? :-) There are also hamster rescues who sometimes have some for rehoming and they sometimes have litters of babies as well.

I’m guessing you’re in the US?
I don’t know of any breeders but if you google it there are lists of ethical breeders on some trustworthy sites so that may be worth a look, that’s for Syrian hamsters, I don’t think there are any true Winter white or Cambell’s breeders in the US, have no idea about robos or Chinese there.
Definitely worth looking to see if there are any rescues within your area though.

Check out which rescues are in your state. There are also unwanted hamsters on craigslist, offerup, kiji. All those sorts of sites.

If you are in the US, we have the California Hamster Association linked on here under breeder and they have a list of ethical breeders in the US :)

Some members have linked others on here as well
