Recently my hamster has always been peeing in her house, where I could see it against the white nesting material. However lately I gave her another house and a sand bath, plus some new hideouts and It doesn’t look like she’s been peeing in the original spot. I can’t find her spot anywhere and this is a problem becuase I have to clean.

Can you smell it? If not I wouldn't worry about it :) I'm sure it'll become clear soon. It sounds like she has moved her pee spot, which is good because you don't really want her peeing in her nest. If the nest is dry it's best to leave it alone usually - they get very precious about the nest. Younger hamsters sometimes do pee in the nest at first but develop better habits as they start to grow up a bit.

I can’t really smell much no,only a little bit, but then there’s the question of where she is peeing then?

It could be in one of the new hides or a corner or she may have covered it up with substrate - they can be quite clean and tidy like that :) When it starts to smell a bit your nose should take you there. Does she have a litter tray?

Just a completely random thought…. Our hamster used to wee in his bed but when he started using his sand bath he’d actually reverse back right to the rim and I found out he was weeing over the back of the sand bath. When I lifted it up the substrate was wet underneath, he still does it now.

Also, if he is using the sand bath, depending on when he pops out maybe it’s drying quickly or he’s kicking it over when done and you can’t see the wet. Our hamster does this too sometimes.

ok thank you , yes I have gotten my hamster a sand bath yesterday and she has only like been digging in it but I will check. Thank for the thought.

Sorry I thought I'd linked the corner litter trays I use but must have forgotten :-) These are a good size for a syrian and the high back means the pee stays inside it - but they're usually very neat about peeing inside it. It really makes life a lot easier when they use it as the rest of the cage stays clean and dry for a very long time - hence only needing the occasional spot clean. Once they use it they don't really pee anywhere else. Although possibly in the wheel. Some do some don't.
It's cheap too! You put suitable hamster sand in it and just empty it once or twice a week! If you put it in the wrong place they won't use it - it needs to be in the place they've chosen to pee. If you don't know where that is, try a corner of the cage and then try somewhere else if there's no pee in it. If they have a multiroom you put it in there - they use on of the rooms as a toilet chamber!

Yes of course, but check the size - some of them are huge and designed for guinea pigs!
