Cindy

Wonderful photos! She is very photogenic - I think she’s actually posing in some!

Did you see the Argos bin I linked on the previous page? Same size as the Rub bin but £35.

Mdf wouldn’t be good no, it would need to be melamine covered or similar, to seal it in.

News on the play area front. I have found a really nice hamster friendly play base for her. All will be revealed after the weekend!!!

She has the savic plaza 100. Most of the things that you can see in there came with the cage along with a large getzgo wheel, a lovely clip together wooden hamster playpI en and a large storage box of tunnels, post sand, etc

I saw it advertised on gumtree and messaged the lady who very kindly delivered it to me, over an hour's drive each way.

I am so pleased.

I felt very clever and creative putting the loo roll inners up all the way round the cage (apart from where the acrylic sheets are). Cindy managed to suss out how to scale to the top of the bars pretty soon.

I will have to think of something better!

So is this her new playpen? :-) She seems to be loving it! And I love the idea of the toilet rolls like that - very clever!

Thank you Sock's mum, she is indeed very naughty!

Yep this is her new playpen. She has cleverly managed to outwit me re the toilet rolls and has twice scaled the sides of the cage!

She is so full of energy :) You could always cut up a big cardboard box and attach cardboard full height round the insides :) Although maybe not at the front or you wouldn't be able to see her - and then she'd just climb the front ha ha. Still climbing is ok if it's in a playpen because she's being supervised :-)

So great to see more of her! She looks like she wants up a lot, that's a bunch of meerkatting! Can't wait to see her in the new playpen

Her cage has more floor space than the plaza.

I would prefer her not to climb as I want to use her play cage time to clean out her home cage.

I do have plenty of cardboard so I guess I will have to use it to block the bars.

Of course my dream omlet cage would solve that problem...

I am genuinely considering getting the omlet cage again. It was so beautiful and Cindy wouldn't be able to climb the perspex sides.
