That's the corned beefFray Bentos ❤ Did they once have keys that you had to turn to unroll the tin lid off the tin? I think sardine tins had them too before ring pull cans. I dont trust ceramic at very high temperatures. What about cast iron for a steady heat?
So I gave in and ordered 3 fray bentos tinned pies
I'm not sure how long the tins will last as they could go rusty - so they will need drying well after use/washing. I hope the Yorkshire puddings don't stick in them ha ha. I might still use the enamel ones again and accept they'll stick in the middle but it's really annoying when they were nearly perfect!
The advantage of the enamel ones and fray bentos tins is - no need to worry about high oven temperatures for the fat - unlike the restrictions with some non stick ones.
