A week starting on a Wednesday 😅

It’s finally weekend
I should go shopping and do a bit of cleaning, but I am lying on my bed, it’s nice and cool here, playing a bit of hand pan. It’s a good exercise for my hand if I do a gentle melody
I am a bit tired and think a rest will revitalise me and then I will get going
Still no thunderstorm here but it’s very humid. Nibbles is in his nest dreaming of peanuts and yogurt drops

That's amazing . What tunes can you play on it? Can you play chords? It looks like a nice instrument, no tuning needed, no puffing, no repetitive strain injuries

I play pattens, it takes ages to learn, you have to get used to using both hands independently
It so soothing and a very natural sound, mine is D mol. Apparently the same frequency as nature (wind, running water ect)
Animals seem to really like it.
I have also got singing bowls, I use them before meditation or yoga. The sound is healing. They have the most fascinating history.

In the town I live we have one of the largest yoga resorts in Europe. They also play hand pan there, but the people are a wee but to extrem fur me. When they start chanting their mantras it freaks me out

The thunderstorm is building up, but it’s still very humid
I have put my flowers under cover, cleaned the house, gave Nibbles his veggie. He looks very content he has gone back to bed for a little snooze. It’s better he comes out later when it’s cooled down.
I was planning to have a pizza tonight, but don’t want to put the oven on until it’s cooler

Oh dear oh my I am scared 110 km storm, lightning ️ and thunder 🫪 they are red code warnings, everyone should stay indoors…. As if I would go for a walk now

There are ones on Temu for about £20. They are an extremely clever idea The Temu ones are sold without glue or batteries so that they can be exported by air
