A week with Socks and Socks Mom

A lovely creative week for you. That is making me hungry!

We had a nice time in the playpen last night, or early this morning I think
Mom's cleaned up, but still needs to clean the fish tank. The window repair man is coming today, so more cleaning and tidying is on schedule. And then some embroidery w home listening to BBC Sounds or YouTube

Getting ready to clean the fish tank. The water is cold, brrr I have to siphon out there fish poop and old food. Then clean the sponge filter in some old water too avoid killing the food bacteria living in the foam. Then there glass needs a rub with a non scratch scourer to clean off the excess algae, although the fish like to have some algae too feed on. Momma cat has laid eggs on the glass, but although they are fertile, the fry gets eaten. It's not a bad thing though as the tank is too small for more fish. The cat fish love living in a group ruled by Momma Cat

What is for lunch today? Pizza

Ooh you're making me hungry again! The embroidery and radio sounds nice I'm not sure about the cleaning jobs!

So what they say about a red sky in the morning seems to be true Rainy day today!
Mom drank too much tea and ate too much chocolate late last night, so she stayed awake past midnight and we missed each other completely
Mom: Sorry Socks
She had her hair cut yesterday and is pleased with the way it looks
No need to go out today, Mom can settle down with the embroidery and spend the day at home. Lunch? The pizza was great yesterday, but today will have to be a bit more ordinary. Brown rice, tinned mackerel, frozen veggies and herbs

Next week is another week of holiday. Mom has been quite busy this week and has enjoyed it a great deal. This autumn weather is the best! She sorted the gin gins with a bigger play pen using picnic blankets made of waterproof nylon and Songmics partitions.
Socks: I'm out after bedtime and the free space is taken up by Mom's stowaway bed otherwise I could have a double playpen as well.
Mom: I'll have to buy a hammock
Socks: What about a nice platform for your nest?

Plants in the rain still look nice it sounds like a good day with a new haircut All this talk of fish is still making me hungry! I love smoked mackerel. We had the rain here yesterday and today is a lovely autumn sunny day Although it looks like it might rain again. Off to look up the epic camel adventure !

Hi all, I'm Socks
Mom: and this is Mom
Let's start with a picture of me. I'm a bit of an older hammy now. I had some sleep in my eye.
Mom: but I'm glad to say it was gone later when Socks got up proper (1am and 4am) He grabs a bit of supper at about 7pm and goes off back to bed. Here he is in his veggies bowl. He always pouches his veggies sitting in his bowl
Mom got up at 4am for half an hour so I could have a proper run around the playpen. During the day, the gin gins (guinea pigs) use the pen while Mom cleans their cages or just cuddles them.
Mom: I'm on holiday this week and next week
