Accidental litter

You could give him a bit of scrambled egg daily on a teaspoon and also fresh veg every day. I'd also put hamster mix in a bowl in case he hasn't quite got his foraging instincts yet. Also maybe add some sprays so he has some distracted and enrichment.

And add a big pile of torn up strips of plain white toilet paper so he can nest somewhere. Has he shown any interest in the wheel? Maybe have it the other way round so there's more space in front of the wheel?

For any hamster, it can take some adjustment to being moved to another cage. Maybe you could add a handful or two of bedding from the mother and girls cage so it smells familiar as well.

Alright, I will try that. Usually, I give boiled egg pieces to the hamsters and they eat them but leave some leftovers. Maybe they will like scrambled better.

He's actually running in the wheel right now and has been for a while. I will give him and the others some toilet paper pieces as you suggested.

Boiled egg is fine too :-) He will just eat what he needs. Scrambled egg might make a change for him as it's warm, but it's a pain scrambling one egg! I tend to scramble it with a bit of water rather than milk as milk isn't particularly good for them, especially when young.
