I just as well start a thread for Bernard knowing fine that i have already rehomed this little rescue Robo to myself.

My OH is quite taken with him as well, even though he's a novelty hamster.
I'll explain that: after losing Rory and Rodney and my OH trying to feed the empty cages with porridge, he said that i should go and rescue another Syrian. I replied that we still have five hamsters and he informed me that three were little ones, novelty hamsters.

Back to Bernard.
I got him from the small ads and people made him out to be a totally crazy hamster.
He's not crazy, he's just a typical Robo.
His age is unknown and he's tiny. Hopefully he'll grow into a proper Robo yet so i can move him into a Hamster Heaven. He's happy in his bin cage and uses everything in there which is not surprising after living in a bare Spelos.
He loves his new wheel and runs incredibly fast.

Bernard's not that interested in food but loves cucumber. He eats it sitting on his bum and sometimes he puts his back paw on the food dish. Must try and get a photo when he does that.

I am so happy Bernard has his own thread. He is adorable and already looks very settled with you.

I've set up the tank downstairs and moved Bernard into it.

I just didn't feel comfortable with a Robo that small in a Hamster Heaven and was worried that he'd jump out the large door.

I was going to wait but then thought i'd just as well give him more space now and move him into his permanent home.

Spot the Robo.

I spotted him! You have created another beautiful set up. Lucky Bernard.

Bernard is so adorable and he's making me want a Robo again.

I've just made it a bit darker for him so he doesn't feel exposed. He needs to settle in now so we are back at the beginning.

Hello Bernard! The tank set up looks amazing! How is he settling in? Probably excited and scared and as you say may take another few days to settle again. He is absolutely gorgeous. So tiny!

I took the green hut and coconut at the front out and replaced it with a tube because they blocked his circuit.
He's like a free runner and jumps as well.
Tiny but incredibly fast.

Even the house i adjusted today so he can run through it. He doesn't like dead ends.

Ooh look at that ickle leg! He looks like a bundle of energy.

He just looks cute to me.

Wow he is really exploring everything! It is so lovely to see him enjoying himself.

What a fantastic set up you have created for Bernard, Beryl. No wonder he is having such fun in there!

It’s an excellent upgrade for him from a tiny bare Savic Spelos! He must be very happy.

Bernard standing tiptoe to reach his water bowl. The tiny pottery bowl belonged to Gertie who ignored any other bowl.
