This particular one is long strips of bedding. I couldn't get on with it for dwarf hamsters. I think it may be ok for Syrian hamsters though.
It would be really annoying to have a big bad of bedding if it doesn't work out.
Oh don't worry,I am going to give it a go,the reviews I have read previously say that their Syrians liked it and that it was good value and soft.Not newspaper texture for instance . Plus,if I don't like it,I have someone I can off load it ontoThanks for confirming @Doodleham . @Yorkie are you sure you don't want to cancel the order?

Well one review says it breaks into smaller pieces very easily,lol if you think the pieces are too big. I sift through each handful anyway whilst placing bedding in my cage( I am paranoid about foreign Bodies) so I am sure I can rip it more if I am not impressed. Robin is gonna be fascinated I am sure,he stole my tissues from the box ,so he may even shred it more himself.I think it'll be ok for Syrian hamsters. Well,received the bedding,it's a mix of flakes and larger pieces. It's soft tissue like,with the odd hard bit in it like the ones you find in Kaytee,which I throw out . It does break easily into smaller pieces if need be. I have fluffed it around a bit and haven't found it to have loads of dust,if any. This may vary batch to batch. As for trying it,neither hamster is due a deep clean yet,but I will keep you posted as and when.
