It’s getting pretty chilly here in the UK, so I’ve given Blossom’s cage an extra layer of insulation in the roof and loft area Hopefully it will keep her toasty and warm inside.

It’s become bitter! Your wool insulation looks cosy.
Wool is one of the best insulators

It is - it's a great idea. Did you knit specially for the hamsters I know you do some amazing knitting!

It's thick with snow here today - not as deep as they said it would be but our road isn't passable!

I never actually got round to knitting any woolly insulation. All Blossom’s wool insulation is courtesy of my organic fruit and veg box…one day I’ll return it to them Our snow has all melted thankfully.

It hasn’t here - there is about a foot of it apparently! More than that in the garden where it’s drifted
