He looks like he's thinking about jumping! He's such a gorgeous colour.

Great video, Clive does look in a rush and very keen to come back out for another roam. Great bee shaped hide :) I brought Hams the Christmas pud one but every time he uses it I can just hear him chewing, so gave up.

He came down the steps but he jumped off it just now!

I've been rearranging things tonight to give them variety so Clive is still running around checking it all out. Well, currently he's climbing in and out of motorcycle boots.
Everybody else is quiet and in their cages.

Oh wow, he's finally had enough and wants back in his cage. They put their paws on my legs or meerkat around me when they want to go home.

That’s so cute, he’s very lucky to have had such a late free roam and extra fun in the motorcycle boots. If Hams is out past 11pm I find he gets super excitable and will jump off things and be more daring.

Here's Clive just now trying the new mix i've hidden in one of the new playarea dig boxes.

When Clive looks over the top of the coconut, you can briefly hear Lilly making one of her squeaky noises. She usually makes them while rolling in a tube.

I couldn't hear the squeaking noise! I heard something but it sounded like camera noise - sort of tapping.

No camera noise as OH is not here. I can hear Lilly ok. It's only two little rubberduck squeaks when Clive looks over the coconut.

Aww Clive looks like he is enjoying exploring his dig box. I heard Lilly's cute little squeak. What a cute little noise she makes.

I donated a lot of spare hamster stuff to the rescue today which free'ed up some space for digging boxes. I also relocated climbing steps which they can access from both sides now and a hamster falls into a boot, should he fall off.

I had the devider up and was leaning over it talking to Jack when Clive run up to me and nipped my finger!

Ok, he didn't bite this time but i have no idea why he's suddenly that jealous. He gets lots of attention and out of cage time.

He went through a phase where he was relatively calm but he's gone all hyperactive again.

I'm wondering if i should change his cage set up to refocus his mind but that may do more harm than good. Impossible to say.

Naughty Clive!

Oh no, cheeky Clive! No nibbling of the fingers that feed you.

While i scooped the pee clumps from his sand, Clive decided that it was a good time to chuck his poops out.

They can be very helpful like that! I've noticed with Syrians also, when they get used to you spot cleaning etc they join in :)

That's what happened tonight. My hand was in his cage with the little poop scoop and he did his bit of housekeeping at the same time.

Clive's fur is thinning again but there is no change in his behaviour, energy levels or anything else. Never has been.

He's not as nervy and vocal as he used to be which is a good thing and may be down to the fact that he's no longer a youngster.

Clive's not bothered by whatever is causing his fur loss - re growth and as long as it's not causing him any discomfort, i'm going to wait and see what developes.

It is a real mystery that Clive will have thinning hair and then it grows back. I wonder if it is seasonal at all. He sounds very healthy and happy and still so keen to go into the magical hall.
