It's bats here. Remember me having a bat swooping around?

Whenever I open my windows the birds come in!

I don’t open mine wide enough for that Wide enough to let air in, but narrow enough so a bird can’t get in! We did have a pigeon come down the chimney in our family home once!

The bats have never come in here… yet.
It’s usually the siskins that come in, they can fit through the tiniest gap or the blue tits just being curous as they always are!

How do you get them to go back out? I hope they do not poop in your home!

No they don’t They most often just go back to the window, I open it wide & off they go or if not I open the door & gently guide them out.

We had a pigeon in the bathroom once, when I was a child. It seemed quite scary at the time but the poor thing was bashing into everything and did make a big mess and pooped a lot! My Dad managed to catch it.

Luckily no birds have ever managed to get in here. I know Sprite would rush out in a panic in case they wanted his seeds.
