Dusty the Robo

Dusty has been in his new cage set up for six days now. This morning at around 10am he came up to the top of the bedding to look around. He has made very short appearances before....like 5 to 10 seconds and then down he goes again. But this time he was looking around and munching on the foraging foods I had just spread all around the cage for him. I think he is feeling more at home.

He is doing fine. I don't see him as much as I used to but just yesterday evening I saw him out and he ate from my hand. I try to give him seeds from my hand every time I see him out and he remembers and comes to my hand for food. The fur on his back has gotten darker too. He has grown up.

I am ok, recovering from surgery fine and at last over the respiratory infection I got two weeks after surgery. UGH! So I am doing a lot better. My time now is spent Diamond Painting. Here is a pic to Dusty yesterday. He came to my hand every time I offered him something. Once with pumpkin seeds he took those. And the other time with shelled sunflower seeds and he rejected those. LOL!

I am feeling much better thanks! I hope to clean Dusty's cage tomorrow, it really needs a good cleaning. I know they don't like their whole cage cleaned at once, but it needs it for his health. I will try to put things back to look like his familiar home, but the bedding has to be changed and his stashes need to be cleaned out.
