Happy Hamsters have been raising awareness of a "fake" Hamster Rescue called "Hammy Hotel Rescue and Rehome" which I think is in Basingstoke. Just to warn members not to adopt from there. Apparently some of the hamsters advertised are stock photos or photos of other peoples hamsters online, and some are just from pets at home and not kept in proper cages or with health checks etc. The person running the rescue is also apparently charging £30 to £50 for "adoptions".
