At the moment, Fifi & Dora seem to be appearing rather late at night…around 10-11pm so it can be a bit difficult sometimes to catch them awake!

Aw that is difficult. I know that feeling. I'm surprised Dora isn't out earlier as robos sometimes come out during the day as well. Do you think she's maybe hiding away a bit since Fifi arrived? I've had that before when a second hamster arrives.

With Fifi though you could maybe get her waking up a bit earlier with some cage noise at feeding time? And tempt her into a tube with a bit of cucumber in?

I think Dora is coming out slightly more since Fifi arrived actually, I’ve been seeing her more often during the day having a drink but she always pops down her tunnel before I can get her out in the playpen!

That’s a great idea, I shall try that at feeding time I’m sure she will become more active soon!

Hello,
Fifi is coming out lots more now and loves being handled and snuggling. She is also slowly working her way around the sides of the cage chewing the cardboard that we use to keep more bedding inside.

Yes, she did manage to get out! We let her explore the living room too.

I bet she loved that! It's great she's coming out more and getting a bit adventurous. If she's been roaming the living room she'll probably be keen to come out again!

Fifi seems to be having a great time, last night she managed to fully walk onto my hand. She did bite me but that’s baby hamsters for you

I’ve noticed she likes to stand up a lot and wobble around! I’m sure it won’t be long until she is in the playpen

They're a real bargain! I have some I haven't unboxed yet and was going to use them in the playpen. I also think they're a great idea for in the cage, if anyone is setting up on a real budget.
