This morning my OH exclaimed: look, Lilly is awake! while pointing at her with his index finger...too close to her cage.
She nipped him.
'Yes, i'm here, handover that mealworm or else".

I was thinking the same. My OH does that sometimes. I think he thinks it's an affectionate thing to point a finger at them! I have to say - don't stick your finger through the bars!

I wonder what this is all about.

It appears he no longer wants it there. He came out this afternoon franticly trying to get behind his drink stand. I suspected he wanted to jump over the rim of the dig box. I moved it and later on he came back out, went behind the drink stand and climbed over the dig box to jump in it. He seems to have decided he no longer likes it there despite it being there the day he arrived.

Funny little things aren't they! I thought he was doing a weird hamster thing as if he can see the water through the glass and wanted to drink it without having to drink from the top!
